I love a winter rain in North Carolina.

It typically minds it's manners. It's quiet, it comes in and does what it is supposed to do without the blustering demands like that of a summer storm. It doesn't bark or growl, it just slowly soaks over time, it runs off and fills up.  It causes us to slow down, to desire rest. I wouldn't enjoy it on a daily basis but it definitely has it's beauty and purpose.
