In the mood for a quick Italian dinner tonight?  Here's a dinner idea that you can put together quickly by purchasing prechopped and precooked ingredients and tossing them together for a great meal in only a tiny bit of time!

Chicken Parmesan Fanfalle, Tossed Italian Salad, Parmesan Butter Croissants, and Lentil Soup.

You Will Need:
  • 1 Box of Fanfalle "Bowtie" Pasta Noodles
  • 1 Jar of Bertolli Olive Oil & Garlic Tomato Sauce
  • 6 oz. of Cooked Chicken Breast Meat
  • 2 cans of Progresso Lentil Soup
  • 1 Can of Croissants
  • Grated Parmessan Cheese
  • Butter
  • 1 Bag of Salad Mix
  • 5 or 6 Cherry Tomatoes
  • 2 or 3 Mushrooms
  • 1 Can Black Olives
  • Tuscan Balsamic Vinaigrette

  1. Boil your pasta noodles.
  2. Slice mushrooms and cut cherry tomatoes and black olives in half.  (You could also purchase sliced olives instead)
  3. Open can of croissants and roll the dough out flat.  Spread thin layer of butter and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the buttered dough.  Break triangles apart and roll the croissants up.  Place on a greased pan and bake according to container directions.
  4. Put the salad mix in a decorative bowl, add cherry tomato and black olive halves and mushroom slices.  Drizzle with vinaigrette and sprinkle lightly with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Warm cans of Lentil Soup and season to your taste.
  6. Warm tomato sauce in a medium sauce pan.
  7. Warm cooked chicken meat in a small skillet with a pat of butter.
  8. Mix together pasta and sauce and top with warm chicken.  Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
