John the Baptist was a man who knew both who he was and who he wasn't. He knew he was the "one crying out in the dessert, 'prepare ye the way of the Lord'" and he also said, "I am not the Christ." He didn't see himself as a nothing and he soberly knew he wasn't everything. His value was in connection with his identity IN Christ. Here is something we can all learn from John the Baptist.

You cannot be everything to everyone in every situation but you can be something to someone in some situations. 

Look for those moments and step into your place when they come. In the other times, let "someone" be "something" to you! Be blessed today!!
